What is Shift?

Shift is an employee engagement platform that helps companies streamline communications, getting their message to every employee, at scale. With just a single screen (i.e. a TV) in your employee-only area, you can deliver meaningful recognition and standardized communications to your front line staff, while also creating a forum for those team members to engage! Our clients have seen consistent improvements in employee retention (as high as 50% increase), increased revenue and efficiency, just to name a few. 

Is Shift a subscription-based offering?

Yes, Shift is a subscription-based service that enables users to digitize and streamline communications via screens across their organization. You can set specific user permissions and customize your account organization to fit your exact needs.

What kind of support does Shift provide?

Shift is committed to providing every client with an exceptional level of support and service. To that end, each of our clients will have a dedicated Customer Success Manager, access to our 24/7 Help Center, and additional resources are available from our support team (support@shiftplatform.tv). During onboarding and throughout our partnership, our teams will ensure clients are thoroughly trained as power-users in the platform so you can maximize the value of Shift!

How do I get set up with Shift?

Shift is designed to be user-friendly with a plug-and-play installation! It only takes 3 easy steps to get started with Shift:some text

  1. SET UP: Mount a TV screen in your high traffic, employee-only areas and plug in our commercial-grade media player (will be delivered to you). It is pre-loaded with your account, so all you have to do is plug it in to the TV (via HDMI) and power, and connect to the internet (a remote is provided that allows you to connect via ethernet or Wi-Fi).
  2. ONBOARDING: Our team walks you through the entire setup process. From creating your account and logins, to building the hierarchy alignment and training- we are with you every step of the way.
  3. CREATE & DELIVER COMMUNICATIONS: Use our ready-made templates or design your own via our built-in Canva integration. It only takes a few minutes to create content, schedule and deliver!
Can Shift be integrated with our existing tech stack (i.e. data systems)?

Yes- you can take the Shift platform to the next level by integrating with your current data systems. We offer a number of pre-built integrations with a variety of POS, HR and back office systems including NCR Aloha, Xenial, Brink and Epsilon, to name a few. In addition, Shift offers an API that allows you to provide data from additional sources as well. If you have questions or don’t see your provider listed as a current integration, reach out to us – we are always building new integrations and may have yours available or in the works!
